F.A.S.T. is an organization run by parents of the Roslyn School District. We are working to benefit our children.
The purpose of F.A.S.T. is simple: to help maintain the Roslyn School District’s status and reputation as one of the premiere school districts in the United States. Founded by concerned parents like yourself, F.A.S.T.’s goal is to provide financial support for the development and enhancement of technology related programs which support the modernization of the Roslyn Public Schools and to provide the best possible education for our children.
Our primary focus is computer technology. In recent years, our Board of Education, faculty and staff have committed major resources and made enormous strides in developing the districts educational technology program. However, the challenge of keeping “up to date” in this rapidly changing arena has been a formidable challenge. That is where F.A.S.T. has helped our district. We have raised over $150,000.00 during the past 5 years from our Golf outings, Community Discount Card and Roslynopoly game. With this money, we have purchased Smart Boards, high performance Projectors and Video monitors, Wireless Network Carts with Laptop Computers and various other peripherals.
We hope to become acquainted with many other parents who share our interest in helping our schools and look forward to your participation in F.A.S.T.
