Mission of the Septa Committee for Academically Advanced Students:

To advocate for our academically advanced students and work in tandem with the RSD to propose and identify outstanding opportunities to meet their unique needs.
To encourage that high potential is recognized, universally valued, actively supported and developed

Who do we represent:Not merely the profoundly gifted students (students serviced by the Tier III pull-out), but all

    Academically Advanced Students K-12.
  As defined by NYS, they are:
    Pupils that show evidence of high performance capability and exceptional potential…and who require educational programs

beyond those normally provided by the regular school program to realize their full potential.
